[INTERVIEW] with Angerville

Industry: Music

1. What’s your daily Hustle? What do you do to survive?
We all do what we have to do, whether it be General Labour or working in the service Industry but in the end it’s all about the music. Finding time to write, record and perform our work in order to further ourselves.
2. What makes you stand out from the rest of the competition? What makes your hustle unique?
We are a mix of street and Internet promotions. Conscious Thought holds down the block and gets the word out about what we are up to in the hood. Fortunato does all of the Internet based work to strengthen our presence on the web.
3. In the past, what has been your most impressive Hustle?
We released 3 Albums, 2 videos, performed at 60 shows and did several interviews in one year.
4. What has been your least impressive Hustle? And how did you overcome it?
During Conscious Thought’s incarceration we had a dry spot where there was little hustling being done. It took time to get back on track but we never lost focus on what was important, music.
5. Currently, what projects are you hustling on? And in the future what can we expect from you?
Got a new mixtape that we just dropped called This Hits For Free Part 3 and releasing an album on September 7th on iTunes. 2 videos have been filmed for the album so we are getting ready to drop those on TV soon.
6. What would be your ultimate Hustle?
Touring the world. I see guys like Paul McCartney at 68 doing it and I think wow that is incredible. If we could do that then I think it would be extremely challenging.
7. If you could hustle with one other Hustler, who would it be? And why?
I would say Jay Z. I think he could write the ultimate book about the music hustle.
8. What are two words that would best describe you?
Diligent Relentless
9. What Smartphone do you use and why?
Blackberry, mainly because I am comfortable with the design and it can take a licking. BBM is useful as well.
10. Lastly, do you have any words of wisdom for other Hustler’s?
When someone tells you that you should slow down, that means you’re just hitting your stride. Persistence pays off and if you’re not out there in the public eye, people will forget about you real fast nowadays.
